Changes to Bridge Sports Complex Memberships Begin July 1st

A directive from Bridgeport City Council will increase membership rates across the board by 5%.

[Bridgeport, WV] March 18, 2024 – Due to rising expenses, membership fees at The Bridge Sports Complex will increase effective July 1st, 2024.

Per City ordinance, the Bridgeport City Council is authorized to increase rates annually in line with the Consumer Price Index. From The Bridge’s inception, the CPI has risen 13%; however, Council has previously declined to increase rates. This year, Council voted unanimously to raise rates at a minimal 5% increase instead of 13% to prevent a burden on consumers. This increase is to cover additional expenses The Bridge has incurred due to higher prices across the supply chain. The most any monthly membership will increase is $4, and the most any annual membership will increase is $40.

Silver Sneakers, Renew Active, and Early Bird memberships will not be affected by this change.

Contact memberships@thebridgewv.com for more information.

The Citynet Center will be closed Sunday, 3/31.
