Whether they are experienced multi-sport athletes or new to the sport, it is a unique challenge that requires commitment and perseverance to push oneself just a little bit more and achieve a new goal.”

Partial proceeds from the triathlon will fund a benefit event for Children’s Home Society of WV, an organization that provides child welfare services including foster care and adoption. Currently, Children’s Home Society is raising funds for a larger facility in Morgantown for programs and outreach efforts, with a goal of $2 million. The fundraising event will take place at the Citynet Center this fall with more details to be announced in the coming months.
