[Bridgeport, WV] November 18, 2024 – Winter fun has come to Bridgeport with the arrival of the second annual Winter Wonderland synthetic ice rink.
Open from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM every Saturday this winter, Winter Wonderland fills a unique need for the greater Harrison County area. At only $5/youth and $10/adult (ages 18+ years), the ice rink provides an affordable outlet for the whole family. “We’re proud that we are able to keep the ice rink accessible to families this holiday season,” said Droo Callahan, general manager of The Bridge Sports Complex.
Entrance fees are collected at the door and include one hour of skating plus skate rental. Several special events have already been scheduled for this season.
· Santa Skate: Sunday, December 15th from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
· Small Business Saturday: Saturday, November 30th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
· Discounted rates for groups of ten or more skaters
· Private rentals available Saturdays from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM (one hour)
Winter Wonderland will be a drop-off site for The Bridge’s toy& clothing drive. New clothing and toys for ages newborn – 17 years will be distributed to local youth in need this holiday season. Donations can also be dropped off at the Citynet Center. The last day to donate will be Saturday, December 14th.Used items will not be accepted.
